Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update June 7th 2020

We have begun to take orders once again, with a limited service base.  Please note orders may take a little longer than usual during this initiation phase.

Covid-19 Information

Hi there valued customer,

We are closely following the current situation with the COVID-19 outbreak and doing everything we can do keep our staff and customers safe at this time.  Effective immediately we are now asking all customers to follow best practice with social distancing and contactless delivery.  In order to keep our teams safe at this time, all customers where possible will have contactless delivery.  

Our teams will deliver to doorstep and make visual contact with the customer and sign the POD on the customers behalf, we understand this isn’t possible for the majority of deliveries so for large items we will be delivering to the room of choice and asking customers to keep distance of 2m while the delivery is taking place.  Again the delivery teams will sign for the delivery.  At this time we are reverting all our deliveries to paperwork rather than using the handsets to limit and chance of contamination, will still be asking customers to sign where possible and they can use their own pens etc, however at this time we are getting a lot of concern regarding contact so our teams will be signing once deliveries are complete.  

We will be calling our customer ahead of deliveries to now prepare as best as possible for our arrival and follow social distancing guidelines as best as possible.  To reassure our customers at this time we will be advising them of the below statement from the WHO even if their packaging was “at risk” 

Q: “Is it safe to receive a package from any area where COVID-19 has been reported? 

A: Yes. The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.” 

I appreciate everyone’s understanding at this time and why we need to update our process’s at this time, we will keep everyone updated as we know more, we want to support all our clients and keep business going for everyone, we are still operating business as usual for the time being.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
